JASON ORANGE - Take That star Jason Orange to become a psychologist? It’ll take Patience but he could Shine

When Take That star Jason Orange announced that he was quitting the band last month, it was claimed that he’d taken the decision after suffering from what was described as “crippling” stage-fright and an overwhelming sense that he was being “violated” by all that Take That’s fame brought in terms of media attention.

But while sad that Jason had quit the group, remaining Take That members Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen vowed to carry on as a trio, and have not only released an awesome new single – and have an album on the way – they’re also set tour the UK next year.

But what’s next for Jason?

Well, according to The Sun, he’s going back to university to finish off his psychology studies with a view to later training as a psychologist.

Ahead of quitting Take That, Jason said, “When I finally decide to get out, my main focus will be developing my interest in psychology.”

A source close to the gorgeous singer said of Jason, “He’s a great listener and is known as a bit of a sensitive soul who likes to think about the big picture.”

Apparently, Jason first studied psychology in 2001 at South Trafford College in Manchester after becoming “fascinated by the mind.”

Here’s wishing Jason well in his studies, but back to Take That’s upcoming tour, and Gary has promised fans that it’s going to be the best yet, perhaps in a bid to prove that as a trio, the group can be as impressive, if not more so, than when the band consisted of all five original members.

He recently said, “We all want a big show. Our dream is to always make people go ‘Wow’!”

The former X Factor judge added, “We’ve been talking about what we can do to blow our audiences away, but I’m not going to give anything away. You’ll have to wait and see.”

However he did concede that the venues for the tour are “more intimate”, and that being the case, Gary feels that fans will be able to better connect with the group during their performances.

  1. I really want him to rejoin Take That again even if it's just a one time thing. It will be a dream come true to see the 5 of them together again.
