JAPANESE RADIO INTERVIEW
Pops Best 10 Radio Show, Tokyo, 29th March 97
P.B.: How do you like to sing in the studio alone?
G.B.: I love it! It's great!!
P.B.: You look so fit and tight. Are you on a special diet or something?
G.B.: Sushi-diet, yeah .
P.B.: Just for a week, right?
G.B.: No, always. Specially, Sushi, Tenpura, Shabushabu (Gary is talking about Japanese foods.)
P.B.: So you're enjoying a Japanese cuisine this time too.
G.B.: Unfortunately, we have to go tomorrow. I've been here for a week and had a fantastic time. So thanks everybody with made it welcome for us.
P.B.: You're here to promote your new album, right? How do you want the listeners to enjoy your album?
G.B.: Hopefully, you know, I think it's not really that much different from old Take That stuff. So I hope everyone will enjoy it. I mean, I write pop music. I love to do sing light pop music and that's for this album is it again - lots of fast songs, lots of slow songs. I hope the fans like it.
P.B.: What do you think of the difference after you've become solo?
G.B.: Things that many differences. Obviously there are not many in the studio now.(Laughs)
P.B.: That makes you easier for your work.
G.B.: That makes you easier, yeah. But we had great six years been together and it's nice to have a change now again.
P.B.: We've got a lot of faxes from the listeners and everyone wants to know if you are not gonna be having any live performances here in Japan.
G.B.: I'm coming back to do some more promotion in July. And then hopefully we're gonna bring the tour out here in spring 1998.
P.B.: That's a year later!!
G.B.: Yes, I know. We've got to see this album been released in every country. So we've got busy quite a lot of places this year.
P.B.: Give chances to everyone, huh?
G.B.: Yeah.
P.B.: Thank you very much for coming in today.
G.B.: Oh, thank you. Thanks everybody, you've come today as well.
